Blackmer NG Series – Oilfield Natural Gas Compressors

The Blackmer NG Series is specifically designed for oil and gas field applications and includes highly efficient, robust, single- and two-stage, oil-free natural gas compressors. Advanced engineering and high-quality materials ensure maximum performance with minimal maintenance.

The NG Series is suitable for a wide range of wellhead applications in oil and gas production, as well as for storage facilities. The NGS Sour Gas compressor models are capable of handling up to 8% dry H₂S.

All NG Series natural gas compressors come standard with a fully configured spacer bar. Each compressor features two sets of piston rod seals between the crosshead guide and cylinder chamber, forming the spacer bar. The spacer bar ensures reliable leak control and prevents oil contamination from possible condensates in the gas stream. Ports in the spacer bar allow for flushing, pressurizing, or venting as needed.

Blackmer NG Series compressors are also successfully used in vapor recovery units (VRUs) and other steam and gas recovery systems within the oil and gas industry.
